We pulled Dukaan's live plan prices and service-fee terms, then compared them with MyShp plan by plan. One is a full commerce platform; the other is a catalog link for chat sellers.
MyShp vs Dukaan is a real comparison now, not a guess. Dukaan publishes its plan prices, and MyShp publishes its product limits, so the honest question is no longer "which is better" but "what exactly are you paying for, and do you need it". Dukaan is a full ecommerce platform with checkout, shipping, warehouses, plugins and staff accounts. MyShp is deliberately narrower: a catalog link that sends one itemised order to your WhatsApp.
Everything about Dukaan below was read from its live pricing page on 30 October 2026, and every MyShp figure comes from our own plan definitions and pricing page. Where Dukaan does not publish something, this article says so instead of assuming.
The 30-second verdict
| Your situation | Better fit |
|---|---|
| Customers message you, you reply, payment happens outside a gateway | MyShp |
| You want card checkout on your own store page | Dukaan |
| You ship in volume with carriers and multiple warehouses | Dukaan |
| You want one visible price and no fee per order | MyShp |
| You run two or three small businesses under one login | MyShp |
| You need plugins for accounting, loyalty or marketing | Dukaan |
| You have under 20 products and ₹0 budget | Either free plan; compare the limits |
| You are building a brand storefront with a team | Dukaan |
Short version: if the sale happens in chat, you are paying Dukaan for capability you are not using. If the sale happens on a web checkout, MyShp is missing the parts that make checkout work.
What Dukaan is today
The Dukaan homepage title reads "Dukaan - Enterprise Ecommerce Platform for Businesses", and the site leads with themes, plugins, multi-warehouse operations and delivery. Their own pricing structure confirms the direction: plans are differentiated by number of online stores, staff accounts and warehouses, which are team and operations constraints, not catalog constraints.
That is not a criticism, it is a positioning statement. A platform sold on staff seats and warehouses is built for a business that has staff and warehouses. A shop owner taking twenty WhatsApp orders a week is not the reader of that page.
What MyShp is
MyShp gives you a shareable catalog page. You upload products with photos and prices, arrange categories, pick one of our 50 themes and publish one link. A customer browses, fills a cart, and the finished order arrives in WhatsApp with items, quantities, options, delivery details and total. The same order is stored in your dashboard with a status and payment state, so WhatsApp is the delivery channel rather than your only record.
Payment is arranged between you and the customer: show a UPI QR, bank details or wallet at checkout, ask for an optional advance, or offer cash on delivery and mark the order paid when the money lands. MyShp takes 0% commission because it is not a payment processor and never holds the money.
Dukaan plans and prices, as published
| Dukaan plan | Published price | What the plan card lists |
|---|---|---|
| Free | ₹0 | 1 online store, 1 staff account, 7 themes, Dukaan Delivery |
| Starter | ₹2,500 per year | 1 online store, 2 staff accounts, 2 warehouses, 7 themes, COD and manual payments |
| Growth | ₹8,000 per year | 3 online stores, 5 staff accounts, 5 warehouses, 14+ themes, theme editor, returns and replacements |
| Infinity | ₹50,000 per year | 10 online stores, 20 staff accounts, 20 warehouses |
| Enterprise | Not published on the page | A separate tier presented for larger operations |
The same page also showed larger figures against those plans — ₹14,399, ₹37,499 and ₹173,880 — presented as the higher, undiscounted annual totals behind the discounted yearly prices. Whichever number you end up paying, the shape of the pricing is the point: Dukaan plans are sold annually and graded by stores, staff seats and warehouses.
MyShp runs the other way. It is free with no card, no expiry and no product limit, so there is no bill to compare at all — just the MyShp pricing page confirming what is included.
The fee that is easy to miss
Under the heading "Dukaan Service fee", their pricing page states: "Dukaan charges a service fee on sales made through the platform. Not applicable for manual orders. Capped ₹200 at per order." That sentence carries three things worth noticing.
- There is an order-level fee. It is charged on sales made through the platform, so the subscription is not the whole bill.
- The rate is not printed on that page. You get a cap, not a percentage, which means the fee is only knowable once you can see it on real orders.
- The cap is ₹200 per order. Calculated from that cap, a shop doing 40 platform-processed orders in a month is exposed to up to ₹8,000 in order fees — more than the ₹2,500 Starter plan costs for a whole year.
The carve-out matters too: the fee is not applicable to manual orders. Chat sellers who record orders manually are probably outside it — but then they are also not using the checkout, shipping and gateway stack they paid for. MyShp has no equivalent line item. Orders are unlimited, and the commission is 0%.

Where Dukaan genuinely wins
- Real checkout. Customers pay on your page by card or gateway without a conversation.
- Shipping operations. Carrier integrations, warehouses and multi-location stock are the reason those plan tiers exist.
- Plugins. Accounting, loyalty, recovery messaging and marketing workflows come from an ecosystem rather than from you.
- Team access. Staff seats let several people run one store, which a one-owner chat shop does not need but a growing brand does.
- Returns and replacements. Listed on Growth, and a genuine load for a high-volume store.
If two or three of those are non-negotiable for you, choosing MyShp to save money would be a mistake. This article is not going to tell you that a catalog link replaces a commerce platform.
Where MyShp wins
- Order clarity. One WhatsApp message with the whole basket, instead of rebuilding an order from a screenshot thread.
- No fee per order. 0% commission and unlimited orders on every plan, including the free one.
- Cost you can see before signup. A free plan with unlimited products, no card, no trial timer and no product ceiling.
- Speed to live. A catalog can be published the same afternoon; a full store build is a project.
- Recurring-customer tools. Balances, dues, receipts, CSV exports and broadcast messages built for repeat buyers who message you.
- Multiple businesses. Separate links and order books under one login, without paying for a ten-store tier.
Compare the free plans on limits, not labels
Both products have a ₹0 plan, so "is it free" is the wrong question. Dukaan's free tier gives one store, one staff account, seven themes and its own delivery option; it is a real store, and the useful limits are the ones a platform cares about. MyShp gives unlimited products, all 50 themes and unlimited orders — the useful limits are the ones a catalog seller cares about.
So decide what you are actually rationing. If the constraint is shipping and store count, Dukaan's tiers answer it. If the constraint is product count and whether the customer's order reaches you intact, read the free online catalog maker guide and test both free plans with the same ten products.
If you switch from Dukaan
- Export your products, or copy titles, prices and best-selling images into a spreadsheet first.
- Rebuild categories in MyShp in the order customers browse them, not the order your old admin listed them.
- Publish before announcing anything, then send yourself a test order.
- Check both ends of the handoff: the WhatsApp message and the dashboard record with its status.
- Update the bio link, WhatsApp status, saved replies, Google Business Profile and any printed QR codes.
- Keep the Dukaan store live for a week so late visitors still land on something.
How this comparison was verified
Dukaan plan names, prices and included limits were read from Dukaan's pricing page on 30 October 2026 in a browser, including the service-fee sentence quoted above; the homepage positioning came from mydukaan.io. Product prices and amounts change without notice, and the service-fee rate is not published on that page, so treat the rupee figures as a dated snapshot and re-read them before you buy. MyShp figures come from our own plan definitions and pricing page. If you are weighing more than two tools, the wider WhatsApp catalog app comparison covers the rest of the shortlist.
The cheapest test costs nothing: publish ten products on a free MyShp catalog, send yourself a real order, and read the message you get. If that message would have saved you five minutes per order on Dukaan, the comparison answered itself.
Frequently asked questions
It is a good alternative if your orders arrive in WhatsApp, you want a catalog link rather than a full checkout stack, and you would rather pay a flat subscription than an order-level fee. It is not a replacement if you need card checkout at scale, carrier integrations, warehouses and a plugin marketplace.
